Baldwin Boxall – CPD Training
Training for VIGIL EVAS voice alarm, OmniCare & Care2 emergency voice communication systems
All customer training courses for voice alarm and EVC have been postponed from April onwards. This decision has been made to limit the spread of the Coronavirus through social distancing.
We will be in touch to reschedule these courses in the future once we are in a position to do so.
Knowledge is important
We run two regular courses for our customers; one on voice alarm (VA) and one on emergency voice communication (EVC). Our training courses are held in a customised demonstration room and feature a CPD certificated session followed by product focused training.
These two courses are held throughout the year and are always well received, with 99% positive feedback from attendees. They are designed specifically for engineers that are responsible for the maintenance of our systems.
We cover the relevant standards, explain concepts, cabling and much more. Both courses are held in the same week of the month, providing the opportunity to cover all subjects in one go. There are local places to stay at very reasonable rates, which many customers find beneficial.
Both Voice Alarm and Emergency Voice Communication (EVC) systems are for life safety and it is imperative that they are checked and maintained regularly by competent personnel. This is reinforced by the relevant British Standards (BS5839-8 for voice alarm and BS5839-9 for EVC).
Space is strictly limited to a maximum of six engineers per session. Certification is provided at the end of the day.

- Engineers that have attended our standard training session(s).

- Site engineers responsible for fault checking and maintenance of our VIGIL2 VA and/or EVC systems.
