Baldwin Boxall was formed by four Directors – Terry Baldwin, Patricia Baldwin and Dave & Dawn Boxall – in 1982 in a shed at the bottom of Dave’s garden. The Directors and staff are all committed to retain the company’s reputation as one that cares, therefore to provide industry leading customer service which follows the founding Directors’ values.
With R&D, sales, marketing, projects, specials, assembly, test, quality, packing and despatch teams all based on the one site in Crowborough, we are able to work efficiently and effectively. We are a knowledgeable staff working together as one team.
The designing of a system is a very important part of the service that we provide. Our willingness and ability to make special products has contributed to our success. Very few systems are exactly the same, which means there is a need for all design parameters to be taken into consideration.
Our products have been installed in many prestigious sites worldwide. We also know, from telephone calls to our after-sales help desk, that some of our early systems are still in use today.

When it comes to the systems you rely upon to keep lives safe, complete confidence is the least you should expect. So now all new Baldwin Boxall products come with a manufacturer warranty of 7 years* as standard!
Core products include voice alarm systems (also known as voice evacuation systems, VACIE), public address systems, microphones and Emergency Voice Communication (or EVC) systems. EVC systems consist of: fire telephones, disabled refuge and roaming telephones. We also manufacture a range of disabled toilet alarm products. Commissioning and maintenance services are also provided.
Our system design engineers will, whenever possible, configure the system using standard products. However, we recognise and cater for those projects that require something different and special. This, for example, could be a custom-built microphone or control panel. Once we have agreed on the design, we will build the system and can, if required, arrange for commissioning once the installation has been completed.
This is all part of our commitment to providing a complete service, from the planning stage through to completion of the project.
