Firmware/hardware Development Engineer

The successful candidate will work in our busy R&D Department and should have knowledge/experience in the following:

• Audio engineering – including all aspects of audio processing, frequency equalising, compression, etc.
• Analogue Devices DSP programming in both Assembler and C.
• Microchip PIC16/18 range in both Assembler and C.
• Data communications RS232/485, fibre and Ethernet.
• Class D audio amplifiers.
• Switch mode power supplies incorporating power factor correction.

Knowledge of the following British Standards would be an advantage:

• BS5839 part 8&9, EN54 part 2, 4, 16 and EN60849.
• EMC EN55103 part 1 and 2.
• Safety BSEN6005.

Northern Sales Representative

 We are looking for a self motivated Northern Sales Representative. 

• The successful candidate will need to live near the M62 corridor, and be prepared to visit trade customers in the north of England and on occasion Scotland.
• He/She will be of smart appearance and have the ability to sell Voice Alarm, Public Address, Disabled Refuge and Fire Telephone products to existing and new trade customers.
• Previous experience of selling in the audio industry would be advantageous.
• Full product training and company car will be provided.

Trainee Commissioning Engineer

We are looking for a person willing to work alongside our in-house Commissioning Engineers on sites around the country.

The successful applicant will be given full on the job training within the factory and on site.

Experience :         No experience required as full training will be given but a willingness to learn and interest in electronics would be an advantage.
